That is why the Texas legislature has allowed the formation of "Coalition Health Plans," to give some relief to small Texas businesses.In a Coalition Health Plan, a small Texas company from two to seven employees joins a "coalition" which is a legal contract that binds together similar size companies to combine for the purpose of purchasing group health insurance. Usually, the companies are from a similar area, have similar health conditions within the employees of their company, and often are in similar industries.
